Spider-Verse! Probably the prettiest movie made last year, potentially one of the prettiest ever. One that got great reviews but not as many people as you'd expect went out to see it. Here's why you should definitely go see the next one in theatres! Everything right with Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse!

@Kashish Prasher Could be, but also you gotta remember thar Gwen arrived early, when Blonde Peter Parker was still alive. Maybe that's what she meant, she tried to reach out to him, or at least thought about it, but didn't because of how much it would hurt.

I looked into all of the character designs and found intentional flaws in all of them except peter parker (blonde not burnt out) like he's the idealistic spiderman, the perfect spiderman, like a spiderman cover girl. (Cover spider? Spider girl? Spider cover?) He's the peter that all other spider people strive to be like, and the fact that his design is perfect just highlights that even more. Even when he was beaten up and bloody his design was still perfect. HIS NOSE WASNT EVEN BROKEN.

My fav thing I found out about this movie is that the entire movie was animated at 24 frames per sec except Miles who was at 12 frames a second. It shows how new and clumsy he is with his new spider powers, but by the final fight, he is finally animated at 24 fps as well. You can really tell how jerky he is when they escape doc oct’s lab and are swinging side by side

I really loved the scene at the end where Peter B almost has more faith in miles than himself, but still telling miles kingpin will kill him and to just shut the machine off, but when miles holds him over the portal Peter B says he's scared he'll mess it up again. I get that feeling that he really just wanted to be a martyr, dying one step from home cause "oh well, I did it to save this dimension" instead of going back to his reality where he's still alone and back to being broken, because in his head, he did everything he could and there's no fixing what's broken, but miles is able to give him the advice he needs to finally move on

Something I've been wanting to correct about this video is that a more accurate translation for Scorpion's "Enanito, dale" would be "Come on / let's go, little midget". While 'enano' in Spanish already means 'midget', Scorpion uses the diminutive suffix '-ito' instead, hence 'little midget'. And 'dale' is an expression to urge someone to do something, anything, not just 'stand'.

@Emperor Palpatine Originally, Peter Porker was going to talk about his own uncle called “Frank N. Furter”. Get it? But they felt, while it was funny, it would have hurt the scene by being somewhat inappropriate, so they changed it to just the simpler “you can’t save everyone”, implying that Porker lost someone he loved as well.

@Bubbly Dragon I would have to disagree that the channel is satire. They do have some genuinely good critiques for some movies like misses in thematic value and/or plot holes. I believe that they hide behind criticism with bs sins and then claim it's satire. If you check out Th3Birdman he makes great videos debunking some of the things said in CinemaSins videos, yes some of CinemaSins is obviously for a joke (though I still think this is just to stretch out the runtime) however with some it's a genuine critique that falls flat because it's not a critique of the movie but their own values (e.g., they will critique a movie with a lot of gaming backstory such as Detective Pikachu showing a lack of understanding for the lore behind it). TL;DR They have genuinely good critiques, jokes, and bad critiques because they don't research the movie in question, making it an overall channel *for* criticism rather than against the idea of bad values in it.

Notice how in miles or Peter Parker’s universe it says “Koca-Soda” (0:55) but in Peter B. Parker’s universe it says “Coca Cola” (7:38). Great attention to detail Sony.

One thing that I noticed is that before the first “okay let’s do this one last time” peter Parker has a scene with him looking at his suit in a bathroom mirror and miles has an identical scene when he buys the suit from Stan Lee

An honourable mention I’d like to add: Spider-Man B goes the first half of the movie depressed enough that he’s willing to die numerous times, and it’s not until toward the end of the movie he starts thinking he’s not just expendable. This subtle nod to mental health and self worth was really a nice touch. Even a stone in a river can get worn down over time, but with fellow stones beside you, it’s not so bad :)

It's beautiful because after being Spider-Man for so long and losing everything that made him want to be Spider-Man, helping Miles along his journey helped him rekindle his love of being a super-hero again and helped him remind himself why he started in the first place.

I think my favourite detail in the film is from the Prowler reveal scene. Notice how the music doesn't kick in and become super intense when Aaron takes his hood off; that happens when we see Miles' reaction. The music wasn't there to nail home the twist for the audience, it was there to show us how Miles is feeling.

This movie literally has changed Sunflower for me. I never really listened to Post Malone before this at all, but after this... I hear the song and I picture Miles at his desk. Sunflower is Miles's song now. It's his. The song is connected to him now.

also miles' fighting and spiderman style is like his uncles, more geared towards parkour, jumping off the sides of buildings, and using the momentum of his swings to aid with those jumps instead of solely relying on them to get from place to place, its a cool detail to show that his uncle, even after being revealed as the "bad guy", still had a major influence on miles

Honestly I watched this movie in the cinemas with a friend when it came out and the colors hurt my eyes, it felt like trying to watch that one scene from Madagascar for a couple hours. But the more i thought about or read about or watched about this movie, the more i loved it. I've rewatched it so many times, and every single time I see something new, but also get to remember something old that makes me love the movie all over again. Also side-win: Aunt May and Peter B Parker both get to see each other again. Even though they know they're from alternate universes.

But can we talk about how amazing miles spider sense is? Like it doesn’t go off when peter sneaks up behind him because it knows he’s not a threat. But it also doesn’t go off when uncle aaron enters his home as the prowler because it’s uncle aaron and miles trusts him.

another cool thing when miles, peter and gwen are in aunt may's house and they get spider sense because of the other spider people, miles' spider sense goes off a second later than gwen and peter showing that he is not a true spiderman yet

@Slevin Channel I didn't watch it in theatres, but at home on my large tv, the movie was simply stunning/mind-blowing for me, not painful. However, everyone responds to sensory stimulation different and in varying degrees. Like I'm bothered by places filled with chatter. And clearly the visuals did bother you too. That being said, if that sort of reaction varies from person to person, is it really the same as it being a fail? A restaurant with a lot of chatter may not be where I choose to eat, but that doesn't make the restaurant a fail. You didn't like some of the visual choices of this film. That doesn't make it a fail either. It just doesn't hit for you.

Hi, just wanted to thank you for touching upon the subject of Miles being mixed. Can I just say, as a mixed person, that this was one of the few movies where they actually got it right. They actually showed the parents and how they lived, they showed the mix of cultures in their home and they made it natural. The amount of times where mixed characters have either been made non mixed (ahem, colorism) or their homes haces just been homogenized is ridiculous. It shows that mixed people worked on this movie because they did it right. I love how the mom spoke Spanish to Miles and dad spoke English to him. That’s so typical of a mixed family, but a treat that we rarely get to see. I’m not the same mix as Miles (I’m kind of the opposite) but I felt more represented in this movie than I have in most. Seeing a mixed family on tv is a rarity. Seeing a mixed family that hasn’t been written by a bunch of people who don’t know what it’s like seems unheard of at this point. That what made this so much more special.
